We would like to say a massive thank you to all Oaken Gates patrons both old and new for their continued support during these tough times.
We are pleased to say that the bulk of our renovations are starting to take shape and we are nearing our completion date.
The inside of the theatre is looking great, and we are very excited to have everyone come down and check it out.
It has not been an easy ride, but good things come to those who wait, and we are pleased to say that things are starting to take shape.
We would like to ask everyone to bear with us over the next few months while finalise all the details.
One thing that our recent building survey flagged up was or car park area, which has not been looking its best as of late.
It has been riddled with potholes and big cracks, and the drainage has been poor which has led to flooding and other issues.
Not only is it not safe, but it is also a huge eyesore that has been bugging us for some time.
Our property lawyers Glasgow told us that we should get it seen to soon before it turned into a liability.
Luckily, we were able to enlist the help of a concrete repair company that were able to help fix the car park and the problems that had developed around the base of the building.
We are extremely grateful to the team that were able to come out and get stuck into this job at such short notice.
Our car park look much better and the building no longer suffers form damp related problems since the flooding has been fixed.
